About Portway
Founding partners Allan James's passion of good building and innovative ideas brought them together in order to form Portway Homes. After collaborating on numerous projects together they found their work ethic, individual skill and ability to solve problems made them an exceptional team.
Together the partners hold over 50 years of experience in the industry of building and renovating the highest quality houses and apartments. Portway Homes is a business that aims to represent the founders shared values and ethos towards home building, and a name that they are proud to stand behind.

Both in terms of how the homes look from the outside and equally as important is how the properties function as homes for the future owners. Every house developed by Portway Homes is designed and constructed with this in mind. This includes incorporating good layout, room to circulate freely, a place for everything, common space to be together yet enough private space to be able to work or relax in peace.
All of our developments strike an important balance between energy efficiency, modernism and affordability. Everyone wants a lower environmental footprint and to live greener, Portway Homes is dedicated to participating in contributing to this. In our homes we fit additional insulation wherever we can along with electric car charging points, provision for cycle storage, solar panels and power storage. We like to think of saving the earth not costing the earth.
